Do a google search for CPUz and download it. It's a small program that lists the CPU, Motherboard and memory info of the computer that you run it on. Use this to find out what memory is in the system.
Get the manufacturer info and the CPU/Motherboard info and then go to Crucial.com to find out the max amount of memory that motherboard will take. You should also be able find any options for different memory that will work while you're there.
I use this method when tracking down memory options. It's never failed me.
